Job Description
Supports the implementation of data governance and / or data management initiatives / activities for a LoB or function.
Experienced working professional role providing specialized business services, advisory or processes / program support within their own area of specialty
Requires experienced, conceptual and practical knowledge within their own specialty and knowledge of broader related areas
Accountable for own work and sometimes others in the Data Governance network; acts as an escalation point or knowledge resource for others in their own area
Leads projects or work streams within broader projects with moderate risk and may be accountable for ongoing activities, processes and functional programs
Works within broad guidelines / policies and independently performs tasks from end to end
Solves moderately complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions
Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Conveys business context when providing guidance within field of specialty to internal or external stakeholders
Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervision
Identifies and leads problem resolution
May support data related activities and analysis on LOB projects and initiatives
Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
3+ years relevant experience
Solid knowledge of data governance/data management practices, enterprise data policy, standards &strategy
Solid knowledge of M&A due diligence process, LOB data strategy, data risk management, and data life cycle management
Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
