Job Summary
The Opportunity
The Business Operations Sales Support Consultant is responsible for supporting the FICO Sales organization of over 500 people across the globe on coordinating FICO’s response to vendor and security compliance focused assessment/audit requests from our customers. This role resides within FICO’s Global Customer Assessment Support (GCAS) Team and requires project management skills, customer focus, and a basic understanding of industry-mandated regulations and how compliance audits are conducted. Additionally, the role will require interaction with multiple departments at FICO, including Information Security, Product Technology, Privacy and Compliance, Human Resources, Facilities Management, and others to engage the appropriate subject matter experts. This is a client-facing role to work on behalf of the Sales Representatives in managing assessment/audit request projects from intake to closure, ensuring proper communication throughout the project, and alignment with FICO’s contractual requirements.
What you'll contribute
• Manage assigned customer assessment/audit projects being accountable for qualification, requirements gathering, schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate with FICO’s Information Security team to schedule remote and onsite security assessments/audits requested by customers.
• Work across all applicable FICO teams to gather appropriate responses to customer reported findings/gaps, develop customer approved remediation plans and drive findings/gaps to closure.
• Communicate project status per external and internal SLA’s to customers and FICO Sales Reps, informing of any potential scheduling conflicts or general risks to the project.
• Assist with the prioritization of GCAS team’s audit projects and provide guidance to team resources on day-to-day project management activities.
• Continually evaluate current processes and make recommendations on improvements to elevate team level performance and increase customer satisfaction.
• Design and maintain process documentation, tracking reports, and performance reports.
• Constantly seek out and improve knowledge of industry-mandated regulations.
What we're seeking
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related program.
• Understanding of industry-mandated regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and across all areas and levels within FICO.
• Able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and complete multiple projects effectively and concurrently.
• Self-motivated and highly collaborative style
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using Salesforce.com.
• Experience or understanding of business process and/or information security compliance auditing.
