Job Summary:
The Director, T&E and Digital Card Products will be responsible for managing the development of strategy, product implementation, and execution of Commercial Large Market go to market activities surrounding a portfolio of Mastercard Travel Card products.

Overview
• The Director, T&E and Digital Card Products, is a key member of the North American Region Large Market Commercial Product Management team in the New Payments Flows organization
• The Director, T&E and Digital Card Products is responsible for leading the strategy, product development, and implementation of commercial card programs which drive growth within MasterCard’s North American region Large Market space
• This role is critical to developing winning strategies and tactics that best meet the unique needs of corporate travel card clients in both the Private and Public Sector, by defining the market opportunity, understanding the business needs of organizations in these segments, and working with Issuers on program development and expansion
• Do you have experience working with digital/mobile applications in the commercial card industry, with North American-based card issuers?
• Have you ever worked in a business capacity with travel card managers, digital product firms, purchasing organizations, accounts receivables/payables, supplier organizations, or commercial card issuers?
• Do you have corporate travel program management experience, and/or experience in developing commercial card program strategies and product development?
Role
The essential responsibilities of the Director, T&E and Digital Card Products position are as follows:
• Help lead the development of travel card strategy, tactics, and execution plans in support of the commercial card Private and Public Sector segments, including Issuers, strategic partners, and industry organizations
• Responsible for leveraging—and supporting the cross-sell of—the full complement of Mastercard capabilities (Labs, Advisors, Emerging Payments, etc.) to drive both innovation and value to MasterCard shareholders in these segments
• Provide consultative product expertise, education, best practices, and implementation guidance for product features and functionality to internal partners (e.g. Sales/Account Team, Product Delivery, etc.) and external customers (e.g. Issuers, governmental and industry organizations, etc.)
• Work closely with business and external stakeholders to ensure effective two-way communications regarding collection of business requirements and communication of key product decisions, plans, and releases
• Develop, determine, and evaluate business cases for proposed product developments that drive revenue growth and recommended prioritization
All About You
• Travel card and/or commercial card payment product management experience
• Strong understanding of corporate travel business processes & policies and the ability to translate those needs into business and product requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with previous experience in a customer-facing role interfacing with mid to senior level executives
• Analytical, solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to drive thought leadership in the Commercial card payments space
• Keen understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends, and the ability to translate that understanding into meaningful action and enhancements
• Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing conditions and priorities is critical to success
• Bachelors degree in business or relevant experience, MBA preferred
