Job Description
• Managing high visibility strategic projects involving complex integrations
• Creating detailed project plans and communicating business updates
• Project planning and tracking of key IT initiatives
• Expertise with SSRS and various reporting tools
• Drive automation initiatives based on application architecture
• Lead systems Integration and transmissions across multiple systems
• Develop and Lead IT portfolio and projects and manage associated tasks, timelines, dependencies and budget within IT and across functions
• Forging cross-functional partnerships to get to the work done.
• Identifying global resource requirements and pulling in the right people.
• Developing, reviewing, and continuously improving IT project planning and execution processes.
• Monitoring project progress, anticipating and reducing risk.
• Oversee team members working on the program(s), and take responsibility for all program activities including planning, research, generation of deliverables, reporting and presentations to external and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate program activities among multiple Money Mart teams including engineering, installation, analysis, software, and account management.
• Develop and maintain new analysis or program management tools for internal or external use.
• Manage to budgets, including project planning, tracking, and adjusting as needed to stay on track.
• Assist with business development, fundraising, and finding new ways to leverage innovations.
• Develop and maintain a broad understanding of Money Mart services and their interaction.
• Develop strong internal and external networks to find new opportunities for collaboration.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineer or equivalent industry experience and certifications.
• Software development Certifications
Experience
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT field with 5 in technology Project management level position in banking / financial sector
• Experience working with various consumer loan products, banking and digital programs.
• Strong Experience with Transmission automation tools, SSRS, SQL and XML
• Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience independently managing large-scale projects with annual budgets of >$250,000.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills and facility with MS Excel, Python or other tools.
• Program and project planning and strategic management.
• Leadership, collaboration and conflict resolution.
• Creativity, ingenuity and willingness/ability to try new things.
• Curiosity to quickly become an expert in new areas, acquire new skills, and to study and then take responsibility for new and unique projects.
• Experience working in teams and managing/ overseeing team members of various levels experience.
• CEM, PMP, Scum Master, MFBA, CEA, CxA, PE or other relevant credentials helpful.
