Talent Acquisition Onboarding Coordinator

Responsible for various Talent Acquisition day-to-day operations, including owning and managing the on-boarding of new employees. Works closely with the Recruiting team to deliver the hires and ensures all candidates have successfully completed the pre-employment screening.
Responsibilities
• Leads and facilitates new hires and reverification terminations due to lack of employment authorization.
• Pursues an ever-evolving understanding of recruiting best practices, employment law, and compliance factors, and implements that knowledge and understanding through the end-to-end recruiting process and business partner consultation.
• Acts as a point of contact for the Field Talent Engagement Team by becoming knowledgeable and proficient on all recruiting/onboarding processes, programs, and tools.
• Provides training and mentoring to new team members.
• Executes onboarding for field class and one-off positions as needed.
• Extends and negotiates nonexempt offer letters, develops offer packets, and distributes to candidates who have accepted the offer for employment.
• Partners with HRBP’s, Training, Hiring Managers, ETIM, and other partners as needed to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new-hire onboarding.
• Coordinates and directs new-hire activities across all key stakeholders.
• Facilitates pre-employment screening, initiates background checks, and aides in screening completion. Informs candidates of offer-rescind decisions and resolves escalated situations. Ensures regulatory compliance and executes responsibilities according to the process/procedures of the role.
• Engages with hiring managers and associated leadership teams (up to, and including, Vice Presidents) to develop strategic, credible relationships that advises and troubleshoots gaps in hiring profiles and consults with business unit customers to continually improve the product Talent Acquisition delivers; assists peers in doing the same related to positions the coordinator may not be specifically responsible for.
• Conduct periodic monitoring of end-to-end processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures that all compliance issues and risks are brought to the immediate attention of the Senior Manager.
• At the direction from TA leadership, partners as subject matter expert for on-site, self-audit maintenance and execution as needed.
