The person will be responsible to work with the established global sales and business development teams to design USD and EUR denominated Trade Finance solutions using the suite of products available from the Global Commercial Payments organization. The person will also design a sales methodology and processes to sell the joint offering of traditional T&E products & Trade Finance solutions to existing & potential new customers. The person will be responsible for building and converting a healthy sales pipeline in line with the business plan. Overall, responsible for execution, delivery and issue resolution and any other customer facing activity. Must be able to successfully balance customer satisfaction and profitable business growth.
Key responsibilities
• Grow existing key Multinational accounts in line with the business plan
• Help acquire new multinational corporations with primary focus on Shipping, Logistics and Consumer Electronics
• Contribute to Trade Finance business development by providing consulting to Account Executive and Sales teams in originating and executing the transactions, which includes credit approval process and discussions with stakeholders such as risk, pricing and legal.
• Formulate and execute a clear and effective sales strategy and direction
• Lead key customer visits to explain the new solutions, benefits and high level process flow
• Seek to implement new ideas and or techniques learned through experience and interaction with peers
• Communicate and coordinate with risk management/credit divisions
• Manage and control the existing portfolio of Trade Finance deals together with regional account management teams
• Independently execute simple to complex Trade Finance deals; Obtain internal approvals: Draft structure memos, prepare/review credit applications including structure/company/risks analysis and recommend transactions to risk management/credit divisions
• Prepare term sheets, proposals to be presented to the customer
• Work closely with Marketing resources to create and maintain campaign material and other collateral
• Deal with amendments, credit and product reviews

Qualifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Able to occasionally travel internationally
• Extensive (10+ years) experience in International Trade Finance and/or Corporate Banking
• Experience in qualifying buyers and sellers, conducting comprehensive financial history inquiries, performing risk tolerances, conducting market research, etc.
• Experience gathering and analyzing company and market financial data, deciphering and presenting recommendations to stakeholders and decision makers
• Experience with global banking lending conditions and defaulting practices
• Expert in MS PowerPoint and able to use MS Word & Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA from a reputable organization
