We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Associate to join the Life & Retirement Field HR team to support the L&R recruiting and hiring process. This position will interface closely with and support two Recruiters, and will also interface with Management and HR Shared Services to manage the hiring workflow efficiently in a high volume environment.

• Become an expert on the AIG hiring processes and policies
• Follow a structured work flow accurately and efficiently to include ATS management, background checks, offer letter generation, as well as onboarding, new hire paper work and first day coordination.
• Conduct candidate phone interviews for select openings
• Be responsive to clients and candidates with a focus on best-in-class service.
• Be proactive, take ownership and escalate concerns, issues or questions quickly
• Multi-task and manage a high volume desk with accuracy.
• Be a team player. Provide backup to peer Recruiting Coordinators when assistance is needed or in absences.
What we are looking for
• 1+ year of full cycle recruiting experience
• 2+ years of HR administration or recruiting coordinator experience in a corporate environment (other related industry experience will be considered).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong computer skills including web based applications such as Applicant Tracking and HR Systems as well as advanced Microsoft office skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Proven experience working in a high-volume performance-driven environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive friendly attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written communication, with all levels of clients and candidates.
• Should possess high attention to detail with strong organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities or processes.
