Job Summary:
Minimize bank losses by collecting on delinquent mortgage loans in a manner that is highly professional and compliant with Union Bank, state and federal requirements.
Major Responsibilities:
Make contact with borrowers on delinquent real estate loans and lines of credit using the Noble Solutions dialer platform. Effectively utilized listening, probing and negotiations skills to obtain the reason for default, identify customer needs and offer alternative solutions to resolve the delinquency.
Utilize skip tracing skills and tools to locate contact information for customers, including research and analysis of account activity, statements and origination documents.
Verify, update and maintain customer demographics, including home address and telephone numbers, business address and telephone number, cellular telephone numbers and other contact numbers.
Accurately document all collection activity. Promptly follow up on customer inquiries. Receive prompt follow-up when promises to pay are broken or in-depth collection activity is required to effect collection. Typically handles a higher volume workload.
Actively participate in Supervisor led coaching sessions and development planning, including the successful execution of feedback and action plans.
Strive to reach individual, department and company performance goal and objectives.
Qualifications
Additional Information:
Qualified applicants must have extensive collections experience, including working in a fast-paced dialer environment. Strong negotiations, problem solving, analytical and oral and written communication skills are required. Experience in Microsoft word, excel, Internet Explorer and Noble dialer web based application, along with knowledge of GSE and FHA collections are preferred.
The position requires a high school diploma, or G.E.D., along with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in collections, preferably in Real Estate Secured portfolios. Also, the position requires knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA and state/federal regulations, along with knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
