Managing industry changing projects
As a Senior Sourcing Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible and accountable for developing and executing challenging, complex sourcing projects. Your strong knowledge and execution of upstream sourcing projects from start to finish will speak to your ability to push the business forward through innovative and industry changing ideas. You will develop strategic sourcing plans utilizing data and contracts in a variety of formats and oversee the strategy execution through to account hand-off. Your initiative will be focused on the client experience by providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing Planning & Delivery:
• Develop and drive execution of a sourcing project plan based on project and required deliverables within an accelerated timeline. Typical categories include (but not limited to) Real Estate Facility Management Services, Capital Projects, Indirect Services, good and materials.
• Upstream sourcing projects include (but not limited to sourcing strategy development, RFP/market bids, supplier performance management execution, industry best practices, among other responsibilities
• Develop category management sourcing plan to provide visibility into current spends, supplier engagement, stakeholder plans, contract structures and market insights that lead to both short- and long-term category strategies.
• Proficient experience in sourcing processes including: data collection and analysis, contracts examination, market analysis, RFP project management, supplier performance management implementation, bid analysis and pricing negotiations, and implementation.
• Perform due diligence and assess of prospective suppliers, executing RFPs/RFIs, negotiating contracts and ensuring effective transition of executed contracts to operations leads.
• Analyze pricing proposals, financial reports and other data to determine the reasonability of price compared to scope and contractor capabilities to actually perform.
• Ensure timely communication and engagement of key project stakeholders (Client and JLL) throughout the life of the sourcing initiatives (from planning to execution). Meet with JLL and Client Leadership to review progress and engage them to advocate and sponsor change.
• Minimum 8 years of experience required. Resource must be looking to continue growing experience in this position with limited supervision. This position is home-based and will be required to independently lead sourcing projects with virtual supervision.
• Manage supplier relationships as it relates to account transition requirements and savings delivery. Understand, track, and mitigate key risks related to our supply chain partners during transitions.
Contract Management
• Work with JLL Strategic Supplier(s) to implement new service contracts. Implementation details include confirming pricing assumptions bid vs actual, managing multiple internal JLL transition stakeholders with timely updates, formalizing services work scopes and effective price variation management, negotiation.
• Provide guidance to administer and maintain supplier files, contracts, amendments, letters and other documents.
• Work with JLL transition team on supplier rationalization strategies, onboarding suppliers onto JLL platforms, negotiation strategies with JLL strategic suppliers for contracting services on short notice.
• Develop contracting and procurement standards, policies and procedures in line with client and JLL technology platform requirements.
Innovation and Client Value:
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and partner with internal JLL teams and clients to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to the client. Proactively manage internal and external customer expectations by understanding, anticipating, and proactively solutioning their business needs and priorities.
• Bring strategic thought leadership to projects identifying additional cost and operational efficiencies as it relates to Sourcing or Contract Management activities
• Develop new business with existing clients by identifying new or additional sourcing projects based on successful prior projects. Assist and/or manage proposal development, new client development, respond and support internal business development teams as needed.
Requirements:
• Excellent Inter-personal, presentation/communication, and organization skills is a must. Ability to communicate effectively and obtain buy-in with internal and external customers, ability to manage up to executives.
• Experience in leading, developing, and executing upstream strategic sourcing activities, supply solutions, processes and procedures.
• Strong financial analytical skills.
• Contract law and agreement negotiation skills preferred.
• Facilities Management knowledge is a significant plus – Janitorial Services, HVAC, Security Guard services, Food and Cafeteria, Waste Disposal, Pest Control, Landscaping, etc.
• Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management or Business Degree with a minimum of 8 years’ experience, C.P.M./CPSM certification a plus, MBA a plus.
