Under general supervision of the Seller Finance Supervisor, the Account Servicing Representative II will be hired to perform various functions related to administering and to completing seller-finance assignments within the established metric standards in accordance with the policy and procedure of the Seller Finance Division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review with customers their account status and histories as well as respond to their inquiries about same.
• Advise customers on procedures to follow in regard to services they may be requesting.
• Assist customers with website registration and any website problems.
• Assist walk in customers with their inquiries.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing mail.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to professionally assist customers with account inquiries and complaints.
• Effectively process any customer request for a telephone payment transaction request.
• Professionally and courteously answer all inbound Seller Finance calls.
• Properly tickle job orders in accounts when services are either requested or required.
• Set up ACH transaction requests for account payors and for account owners as well as issue confirmation letters.
• Cross train in all areas of Account Servicing.
• Complete all tasks and tickles assigned within metric standards.
All other duties as assigned by the Seller Finance Supervisor
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Extensive knowledge of account servicing for private real estate transactions.
• Analytical ability sufficient to detect problems in workflow procedures and service given and to make recommendations to management to rectify problems or expedite services.
• Extensive ability to manage and prioritize daily assignments and ability to work under tight time constraints.
• Must be flexible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use common office suite software (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to establish and maintain harmonious and effective relationships with customers, co-works and other department staff.
• Account and bank reconciliation experience.
• Knowledge of office methods and procedures and of standard office equipment (e.g. personal computer, calculator, copier, facsimile machine, scanner, microfilm reader, etc.)
• High School diploma/equivalent with 3-5 years’ experience in mortgage related setting.
