This is a newly created centralized position responsible for aligning a total payments financial strategy with business strategy. This includes developing and building out a flexible and sustainable long-range planning process that provides 3-5 year financial views. These views will supplement the execution of financial transactions as well as inform business strategy. Develops models, assumptions, and metrics to accompany the process as well as inform scenarios. Acts as a liaison and coordinates between business lines and Corporate partners, ensuring new transactions and business activity optimizes results as well as executes against stated strategies and aligns with long-range financial planning. Ensure buy and build methodologies and decisions are informed by the Total Payments Financial strategy and long-range plans. Develop consolidated financial reporting mechanisms that inform decision making as well as effectively communicate periodic financial results to the Payments CEO and Bank CFO and CEO.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
1. 8+ years of banking experience.
2. 3+ years of management experience.
3. Advanced degree in Economics, Accounting/Finance, Applied Math/Science, or related field.
4. Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills.
5. Knowledge of unit(s) and relation to industry.
6. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
7. Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
8. Considerable tact, diplomacy, and people skills.
