This position provides support to all areas of the Human Resources Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide primary coverage for the HR reception desk
• Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, faxing and typing
• Create and maintain various files and binders to accommodate employee information and record keeping, ensuring completeness of data and accuracy of information
• Research problems to determine source and take corrective measures within the established guidelines and policies
• Oversee conference and meeting room reservations
• Assist in the planning and implementation of corporate events
• Assist with employee welfare events and corporate community service involvement for the company
• Create and maintain all employee files
• Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and Director
• Assist with special projects
• Assist the Payroll Administrator and HR Generalist as needed
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma and/or equivalent of two years of general human resources experience
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with large volumes of details under deadlines
• Ability to make decisions within confines of established policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in person and by telephone
• Ability to operate a personal computer and to use common office suite software, such as word processing, spreadsheets and data base applications, and software specific to the department needs
WORK CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must have the ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary. Some travel may be required.
