Facilitate and support the development and implementation of corporate, business unit and service/support unit strategic plans and specific strategic initiatives. Responsible for identifying, prioritizing and executing initiatives and activities required to develop and support the respective business unit. Work closely with business unit leadership and key partners to directly support and recommend strategies, priorities and special initiatives/projects of overall business line as well as produce analytical information to support recommendations.
Major Responsibilities:
• Support the ongoing strategic planning at the corporate level and in the business, service and support units
• Guide the line of business and act as a liaison between the business unit and Corporate Strategy on all top-down strategic efforts
• Work cross-functionally with finance, sales and service, marketing, credit, compliance, incentive, and project management teams as well as the lines of business to plan strategic efforts and provide implementation support
• Support ongoing planning, implementation and monitoring of The Regional Bank strategic plan and other critical strategic initiatives
• Conduct strategic analysis and competitive assessments for planned initiatives, measure/track results, and present and articulate key information to leadership to guide strategic decisions
• Provide sales strategy and reporting support to Portfolio Management team
• Involved with development, analysis, and reporting of key metrics for banker incentive plans
• Act as a point of contact and/or liaison between business unit lead and other senior management, business partners, and front line employees
• Identify opportunities for improvement and enhancements related to various reporting processes, including new reporting mechanisms
• Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership
• Engage in facilitation of revenue producing activities and reporting through group related activities and initiatives
Qualifications
• Experience in corporate and business unit strategy development and management of large implementation efforts
• High comfort level in dealing with senior and middle management, including excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven team building and team leadership skills, in particular in project settings
• Expert level use of MS office tools, specifically Excel and Power Point
• Ability to provide comprehensive financial analysis in addition to complex analytical and financial reports
• Requires great reasoning, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skill
• Delivers all work product with minimal errors and omissions (e.g., grammar is correct and professional, formatting is clean, key subjects are thought through and addressed appropriately, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and with teams as well as develop effective interpersonal networks within the organization
