ISG Sales & Distribution – Resource Analyst, Strategic Distribution Concept Delivery
The Individual Solutions Group is seeking a highly qualified individual to join a Team helping to uncover the next set of high value Annuity and Life Distribution opportunities. The Resource Analyst, Concept Delivery will help manage and coordinate the prioritization, segmentation and assessment of a portfolio of new and creative distribution opportunities to support the long-term growth of our Annuities and Life businesses. Potential business opportunities may include the delivery of new solutions, operating models, and technology capabilities geared toward helping the ISG organization meet its critical growth objectives. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating the workflow of the Team, maintaining required reporting including progress reports, assessment deadlines and helping to allocate resources. The individual may also assist Strategy Leads in the formal assessment process, including taking lead on building powerpoint decks and related material for presentations to senior leadership. Additionally, the candidate will be called on to identify and coordinate cross-functional resources during both the intake and assessment phases of incubation.
The successful candidate should be intellectually curious, self-driven and effective operating in and leading highly collaborative teams. This individual should also be driven by outcomes, enjoy combining traditional approaches with new ones to drive change and achieve desired organizational outcomes. It is imperative that this individual have the experience and proven ability to operate in ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities. The successful candidate will:
• Assist the Vice President – Concept Delivery in managing the Concept Portfolio; including tracking progress, meeting deadlines and maintaining reports, learning agendas and key performance indicators
• Leverage their experience and knowledge of the marketplace, established relationships/contacts internally and externally to infuse knowledge and efficiency into the Teams’ workflow.
• Be able to craft an effective and persuasive message via MS Powerpoint. Proficiency Required!
• Assist Strategy Leads in the day to day efforts to generate a Point Of View on emergent opportunities, explore the possibilities, identify what they are and what they may look like, build the case, and mobilize the team to build out and test ideas.
• Actively participate in productive debates by asking insightful questions, acknowledge established biases, comfortable bringing in experts, and possesses courage to challenge or shut down initiative if needed. Acts as Devil’s Advocate/”Red Teaming”.
• Help the Team form recommendations and presentations of the vetted “pre-MVP” concepts to senior executives and influences to create confidence in ideas and adoption into business segments.
• Ensure critical deliverables are advancing at the required pace and are completed on time.
• Serve as a thought leader and trusted partner within the Team and broader organization
• Proactively leverage internal and external data and research to help develop a business cases for products and services Prudential should bring to the marketplace.
• Understand the supporting and enabling technologies and how they relate to the processes that will ensure success.
• Support the creation of prioritized roadmaps and plans for delivering business value, bringing simple and transparent processes that can be easily adopted and that enable thoughtful trade-off decisions
• Work closely with and influences various Individual Life and Annuities functional areas and corporate partners; many times, without authority or clear mandates.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Distribution, Program Management or Strategic Planning
• Expert at using MS Powerpoint to craft an effective message; building executive level presentations to “tell the story”
• Possess an intellectual curiosity and natural comfort with questioning conventional models
• Self-Starter with strong internal motivation who demonstrates the ability to operate and execute well in ambiguity
• Expert relationship builder internally and externally, with ability to quickly earn trusted partner status
• Expert at leading and operating effectively within teams
• Experience managing dynamic projects
• Exhibit strong executive presence, specifically the ability to present concepts to senior executives in a compelling manner and create confidence in them
• Use critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to convey ideas/decisions confidently and provide proof points
• Ability to influence others without formal accountability. Proven experience to build consensus within Teams and organizations
• Ability to formulate ideas with a predictive lens, while maintaining an open mind and not defaulting to conventional notions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and savvy navigation of complex business structures
• Financial Services Industry experience preferred
• Series 6, 63 or ability to obtain within 150 days
