The Role
As a Part Time Claims Service Associate, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls from customers while ensuring a high level of customer service. You will provide consistent, high quality service and accurate information to customers. This is a part time position allowing for a flexible schedule of just under 20 hours per week,
Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provides exceptional customer service via telephone and email on a variety of incoming/outgoing inquiries, such as: claim, eligibility, and administration from providers, claimants, group administrators, brokers, regional sales offices and other internal departments.
• Supports customers on group Dental, Disability, Life and AD&D inquiries.
Operations
• Researches policy requests and contract provisions by using multiple systems and reference materials.
• Adheres to privacy regulations and maintains customer confidentiality.
• Ensures customer interactions are correctly documented in our internal systems.
Education
• High school diploma/GED
Experience
• 0 – 1+ years of experience in Customer Service that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
