Department Description
BSL Infrastructure Change & BAU, responsible for delivering the technical infrastructure components of Group project needs and BAU.
Team Description
Technical Infrastructure Delivery, responsible for interfacing with portfolio management, project managers & stakeholders in the delivery of BSL related infrastructure components and BAU.
Role Description
• Support & regular upgrade of advanced functions of all LSEG Messaging Systems comprising MS Exchange, Blackberry, MobileIron, Clearswift Mail Gateways, Enterprise Vault Archiving & Compliance products
• Will be assigned responsibility for advanced technical issues in the environment for problem resolution;
• Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with vendor support for all servers, software and other hardware directly or with the team members;
• Define, monitor, optimize and trouble shoot system performance of all systems including internal, external networks, hardware, servers and all connected equipment belonging to the company;
• Be heavily involved in working with project teams and will lead project initiatives from the systems side.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, Install, monitor and support advanced functions of the Messaging System and associated ecosystem, and related applications directly or with the team;
• Will be assigned responsibility for technical issues in the environment for problem resolution;
• Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with vendor support for all servers, software and other hardware directly or with the team members;
• Define, monitor, optimize and trouble shoot system performance of all systems including internal external networks, hardware, servers and all connected equipment belonging to the company;
• Define, maintain and monitor compliance to security and software policies for the business.

• Resolve unusual or highly complex problems, with the involvement of others as required. Able to identify solutions and explore alternatives outside familiar approaches.
Provision of appropriate project documentation and controls
• Ensure all activities are completed effectively and in accordance with Change Lifecycle and adoption of company project methodology. Responsibilities include: change control, maintenance of files, document control, actual data collection and forecasting, updating of plans, administration of quality reviews, meetings support, minute taking and standards reporting.
• Ensure completion and appropriate storage of all project documentation.
• Ensure completion of weekly Status Update Report

• Liaise where required with IT & Business in order to assist with the dissemination of information to external clients as appropriate
