Job Title Training Specialist
What does a great Training Specialist do?

If you are passionate about an opportunity where you can travel for work and facilitate trainings on technology, we have an exciting position available. We are growing and have an exceptional set of technology and service professionals across the globe but we need new team members who can help us train on our product suite. Your team will train directly onsite at financial institutions on our debit card processing platform and transitioning them from their existing technology onto our system, extensive domestic travel will be required. As a trainer you will work primarily as a facilitator, however designing material and building content will also be necessary and knowledge in the ADDIE process will assist in your success. You will be responsible for evaluating training solutions through metrics and make recommendations in support of continuous improvement initiatives. You are an integral part of the team, and will make a direct impact on the performance of our organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Instruct participants in both classroom and distance learning programs
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure that course materials and training courses reflects current product features and organizational processes
• Contribute to the instructional design process to develop client education programs. Utilize validated techniques to research, design and develop learning materials for new and existing programs in a variety of contexts and subjects, using several software applications and tools
• Incorporate adult learning principles (learning needs/styles, etc.) in all material and activity development.
• Develop and maintain blended curriculum and supporting documentation for instructor-led courses
• Consult with internal clients to understand training requirements, design appropriate solutions and schedule and lead knowledge harvesting, design and review sessions.
• Utilize the ADDIE model of instructional design
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Three years’ experience delivering client training
• Demonstrated knowledge of the ADDIE Model
Preferred Qualifications:
• Two years’ experience using instructional design methodology
• Two years’ experience writing procedures and/or documentation
• Knowledge of EFT industry
• Experience in the financial industry or banking
Travel Required: up to 75%
