Job Summary:
Provide functional support to the Director, Retail Credit Risk Management Quality Control in assuring the quality of credit risk management and oversight activities for Retail Credit Risk Management (“RCRM”). This role will assist in ensuring that the risk management activities of the Business Unit (Regional Bank), 1st Line of Defense (Risk & Control) and 2nd Line of Defense (RCRM) are aligned with regulatory requirements and America’s Risk Management (ARM) policy.
1. Assist in the monitoring of risk mitigation activities of the Business Unit, 1st LOD and 2nd LOD.
2. Ensure RCRM activities are properly monitored and documented in order to meet OCC Heightened Standard requirements as well as internal 3rd LOD review requirements.
3. Assist in the development, implementation and annual updating of policies and procedures in accordance with MUFG policy governance standards.
4. Support RCRM projects and initiatives ensuring plans meet requirements and are completed within established timeframes. Monitor and report on the progress of the projects and initiatives.
5. May act as liaison to other internal exam management functions in assisting with the RCRM documentation requests and follow ups.
Participate in and contribute to ad hoc projects
Qualifications
7+ years experience across consumer lending and servicing preferred.
Understanding of risk management, quality assurance and quality control concepts and processes.
Demonstrated ability to audit data and processes, draw conclusions and document compliance with established standards.
