We are seeking to hire an Assurance Seniorwho is passionate about what they do and care deeply about making a difference for their clients, their co-workers, and CLA. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead client audit engagements, including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial statement audits.
• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas/transactions as well as prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Schedule, delegate, review the work of staff and meet client deliverables.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Keep Manager/Principal aware of engagement status and problem areas.
• Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information to ensure timely engagement wrap-up.
• Work with key client’s to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ year’s public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam required.
• Experience in public accounting highly desired.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and training skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Some travel required.
