Position Description
The PGIM REF Multifamily Agency Finance group is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Loan Processor. The position requires a very organized, detail oriented candidate with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Position involves collecting and processing information for loans pursuant to the guidelines required by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Familiarity with Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac multifamily and/or other commercial mortgage loan programs is a plus. The position will provide support to the underwriting team. The position will also keep other parties including originators, closing officers, borrowers, legal counsel, vendors, etc., informed of a loan's progress and current status. This position can be located in either Arlington, VA or Chicago, IL.
The primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Primary contact with client for checklist needs and data collection.
• Set up and participate in kick off calls, status updates and closing calls.
• Create initial checklists and monitor receipt of all documentation; send out weekly updated checklists.
• Coordinate delivery of due diligence materials to third party report providers.
• Establish and keep current a Contact List for each transaction.
• Provide personalized loan documentation forms for clients tailored to transaction specifics.
• Create/maintain electronic files and internal databases.
• Review due diligence materials for accuracy and alert team members immediately when issues are discovered.
• Provide Lender Counsel with requested documentation.
• Track all expenses for transaction and pay invoices.
• Assist in the preparation of loan committee submissions.
• Provide Lender Counsel with requested documentation.
• Manage deal flow between Underwriters, prioritizing daily tasks and identifying immediate needs.
• Manage and organize all due diligence files/documentation for upload to Agencies.
• Provide tax analysis to closing for escrow analysis.
• Assist closing in preparing and organizing all necessary final documentation.
Qualifications
• Relevant work experience in the mortgage business is preferred
• Strong verbal, written and telephonic communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage workflow of multiple transactions and individuals
• Superior organizational and analytical skills with ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently and successfully with others in a sometimes fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Aptitude for learning new software applications
• No College Degree Required; two-year Associates or four-year college degree a plus
