The solutions offered by the Investment Manager Services division provide asset and investment managers with the tools and capabilities needed to cost-effectively grow their business and maximize firm value, while leveraging SEI’s brand and experience as a full business process outsourcer. The Investment Manager Services Unit has an opportunity available for an Analyst within the Enhanced Middle Office Team supporting collateral management. The responsibilities of the Analyst position include:
The responsibilities of the Analyst position include:
Review and process bank loan related activities including: setting up new investments, paydowns, borrowings, interest payments, rate resets, rollovers, restructurings.
Communicate and coordinate information between investment managers, agent banks and accounting teams in a timely and effective manner.
Assist accounting teams with loan discrepancies on a daily and monthly basis.
Keeping up to date on industry initiatives.
Review credit and trade documentation and ensure accurate and timely reporting of activity.
Assisting in the implementation of new clients.
Executing daily reviews and controls.
Participating in the testing of new releases/system enhancements.
Analyzing and documenting system issues and gaps.
Position Requirements
Position Requirements:
BA / BS in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics or equivalent experience preferred
Internship experience preferred
Technology or equivalent job experience
Some investment operations experience preferred
Knowledge of the Syndicated Loan Market a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively work under pressure to meet concurrent deadlines
Ability to work independently and with others in an effective and professional manner
Strong interest in creating meaningful business solutions
Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with position, business and/or client needs
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
