Description
Job Summary:
The Commercial Services Business Development Officer II generates and develops national and local commercial business for their assigned Commercial Services Center. The Commercial Services Business Development Officer II is accountable for a comprehensive book of commercial business which contributes to producing business for the company. Responsibilities include advising clients on the introduction and use of services, maintaining customer relationships and servicing the customer's needs throughout the entire sales order as well as following up for future business.
Job Roles:
• Generate, develop and retain new commercial business with large businesses with significant real estate holdings for assigned national commercial center
• Understanding of market and competition with the ability to identify external threats and opportunities
• Prepare annual sales and revenue plan to be reviewed quarterly
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with Commercial Services Manager and Regional Sales Director
• Coordinate optimum customer service between national commercial customers and commercial closers.
• Maintain customer information for database
• Attend relevant industry trade shows as a representative of Stewart and Commercial Services
• Provide monthly progress reports to management
• Have regular scheduled meetings with Commercial Services Manager and Regional Sales Director to review progress on achieving agreed upon goals
• Other duties as assigned or reassigned by management
Qualifications
Role Specific Knowledge:
• Sales and Marketing Experience
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
• Knowledge and understanding of commercial real estate
• Applicable knowledge of products and services, business plans, customer requirements, and market demands for the assigned Commercial Services Center.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, and has a strong work ethic
• Ability to travel and visit client/business locations.
• Persuasive selling skills sufficient to influence customers and create sales opportunities.
• Maintain a professional appearance, professional attitude and provide a positive company image to the public
• Excellent customer services skills, including follow up with current and prospective customers answering any and all needs, questions or concerns.
• Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of MS Office sufficient to create presentations, manage spreadsheets and create documents.
• Working knowledge of SalesForce.
