The Project Coordinator will be an integral part of the Data Privacy Office at RSM US, working directly with the Data Privacy Officer. The Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting in the daily coordination of projects related to Privacy Office initiatives and Privacy Office support of RSM’s lines of business. This includes preparing and maintaining: project plans, including the creation and maintenance of Gantt charts, budgets, staffing requirements, and metrics and reporting on Privacy Office projects. The Project Coordinator will also communicate with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
Essential Duties:
• Assist team leader in preparing and maintaining projects plans, including documentation, budgets, implementation, training, communication for projects derived line of business, office location, region and/or firm initiatives
• Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule that includes administrative tasks and all key stakeholders in the project
• Track project progress and identify and escalate project obstacles to team leader, and communicate with other key stakeholders
• Schedule meetings, including site selection, travel arrangements, preparation of meeting and presentation materials, development of agendas, preparation of minutes in support of assigned projects, distribution of meeting materials, and tracking meeting attendance. May attend meetings as required by project and/or assignment
• Initiate, develop, and maintain communication with internal and external clients and vendors as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned.
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED
Skills:
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to prepare presentations including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes & handouts, etc.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written with diverse audiences
Preferred Requirements:
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of the technology tools required within assigned responsibilities
• Effective organization and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail
