Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as an Administrative Assistant in Enterprise might include the following:
Answer phones with professionalism, greet clients and direct them to the correct person.
Process payroll, input payables, reconcile accounts, and other bookkeeping duties.
Work with spreadsheets, track data in a database, time record keeping and client maintenance.
Assist partners, managers and staff with all office activities (typing, faxing, scanning, copying).
Research information for partners, managers and staff using the internet and other resources.
Print and assemble final versions of tax returns for corporations, individuals, partnerships, nonprofit and financial institutions.
Electronically track and save returns according to Firm guidelines.
Format and proof financial statements, as well as binding final reports.
Review, sort and route incoming mail; distribute outgoing mail.
Open to new challenges and assist with special projects as requested.
Pick up additional administrative responsibilities when needed.
Who You Are
You thrive in a customer service oriented, high-volume, and fast-paced work environment.
You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.
You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
You love collaborating and being part of a team but also enjoy working alone with limited supervision.
In addition to all of this, you have a high school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll, bookkeeping and administrative support.
