Job Description
The Temporary Event & Registration Assistant is responsible for providing the Corporate Events team with administrative support related to marketing, coordinating and executing numerous client and internal events for Baird, as well as the coordination of entry level events.
As an Event & Registration Assistant, you will:
• Assist planners & registration specialists workload through research, budgeting, communication, attendee maintenance and other projects as needed
• Build and assist with registration and App platforms in Cvent Software, inclusive of integration between Concur & third party API integration
• Strong team player and work ethic

What we look for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred. 1-2 years of previous experience performing advanced administrative functions and experience in event planning required.
• Exceptional computer skills including the MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience using mail merges and utilizing databases is required. Ability to learn specific industry software.
• Independent self-starter with ability to tolerate peak workloads, multiple assignments and produce results with accuracy and reliability while demonstrating a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
• Excellent organizational skills - ability to prioritize daily workflow to effectively meet deadlines.
• Available to work long hours into evenings for staffing events or to make final event preparations, as needed. Travel may intermittently be required, no more than 10% of time.
