• At CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) Consulting and Accounting Solutions Team (CAST), our consultants have the opportunity to work on a variety of clients and develop their skills in many areas including, but not limited to, manufacturing, nonprofit, financial services and healthcare. We provide high level accounting and finance resources on an interim basis, in roles such as CFO, Controller, Accounting Manager, Internal Auditor, VP Finance, or Financial Reporting Manager. Our people bring the full breadth of their talents, experience, and personal style to make an impact on those they serve, with a focus on helping to improve accounting and finance operations.
Job Requirements
◦ Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred
◦ Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including 2 + years’ experience in public accounting, Big 4 preferred, or comparable consulting firm
◦ CPA certification preferred
A great Engagement Director would also possess the following:
◦ A strong client services delivery orientation including the demonstrated ability to take an active role in executing engagements to client service standards
◦ SEC reporting experience a plus
◦ Strong audit experience a preferred
◦ Work related experience in any of the following areas is preferred: previous audit, compliance or internal controls
◦ Experience in designing/improving accounting processes such as: monthly close, management and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, shared services or application outsourcing and system implementations
◦ Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives and team members
◦ Ability to travel is strongly preferred
◦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
