We are looking for a highly motivated Tax Manager or Tax Senior for our Healthcare group in our Dallas office.
Tax Manager Job Description:
• Review complex individual and business tax returns and research complex tax issues
• Responsible for all areas of for-profit tax compliance and planning
• Particular emphasis in working with privately held, for-profit health care organizations (physician and dental practices, aging services providers, and hospitals & health systems)
• Lead client service teams and exhibit strong people management and team building skills.
• Expand services to existing clients and develop new business relationships
Tax Manager Requirements
• A minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting and/or professional services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required. JD, or MST/MBT in place of CPA certification.
• Implementing tax strategies for privately held for-profit healthcare organizations preferred
• Experience efficiently performing research on client tax issues preferred
• Excellent client service orientation with an ability to expand services and develop new business
• Excellent staff mentoring and development skills
