Becoming the Administrative Assistant to the Managing Director (MD) of Eagle Lending is an ideal opportunity for individuals who want to build a career in financial services, work in a collaborative environment and learn about business development and credit. As an Admin Assistant you will be responsible for optimizing the MD's efficiency through effective administrative support including, interacting with clients, prospects, and employees, answering phone calls, scheduling meetings and appointments, making travel arrangements and acting as the liason between the MD and Private Banking Officers, lending personnel and clients. This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role, interacting with many different levels and departments across the bank. Responsibilities
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendar for the Managing Director (MD), including making travel and hotel arrangements, scheduling calls/meetings, managing expense reports and general office duties for team development
• Assist in managing the MD's pipeline of client transactions, including: following-up with delinquent clients, responding to incoming calls/emails/ad-hoc client requests, vetting and completing the initial analysis of new applicants and ensuring client loan requests proceed in a timely fashion
• Coordinate and set up meetings including gathering and preparing agenda/materials and arranging logistics (conference room, bridge line, pictel) and ordering any required catering
• Create, maintain and distribute client interaction and cross-selling reports
• Collaborate with Eagle Lending's Talent Acquisition Specialist to schedule interviews for the department and correspond with candidates and new hires as needed
• Direct interface with all levels of external clients and prospects as well as internal team members including senior executives
• Stays in touch with all facets of the company and identifies potential issues to the MD before they escalate
• Maintains a flexible work schedule
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree required
• 1-2 years of customer service/sales experience in banking, finance or related business field strongly preferred
• Strong communication, decision-making and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-based environment
• Organized, detail-oriented and excellent time management skills
• Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively with little supervision
• Ability to build relationships with a variety of different professionals and be flexible in approach/style
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service
