Job Title Project Specialist
This position can work remotely anywhere in the United States. The preferred location is the Lake Mary, FL office.
What does a great Project Specialist do?
You will be responsible for the project management of add on products for existing clients onto Fiserv EFT platforms. You will have the opportunity to schedule and coordinate the key activities with internal departments, external vendors and the client to ensure the client installation process is completed on time and in accordance with client requirements. This position provides exciting challenges with the opportunity to learn and manage a variety of different project types. The experience gained in this role positions you to become an invaluable subject matter expert playing a critical role in the satisfaction of our clients.
As a Project Specialist, you can look forward to:
• Acting as the primary project contact for clients and internal groups for client related development, testing, implementation readiness and final implementation.
• Providing continuous project feedback and status updates to key stakeholders.
• Developing project plans and related task lists as necessary, updating plans accordingly.
• Analyzing client customization requirements and creating the appropriate specifications to meet those needs.
• Researching and preparing service reports, custom programming requests and project requests to meet the needs of the client.
• Managing multiple implementation tasks with other internal groups to ensure project completion in accordance with client requirements.
• Developing and maintaining professional client relationships and managing expectations with respect to live dates and other key timelines.
• Occasional after hour support of client implementations.
• Working with resource managers to create capacity plan and resource forecasting
• Working with project managers and project teams to ensure internal project audit points are managed and tracked
• Developing and maintaining consistent standards for project status reporting for internal and external purposes.
• Representing the department for internal special projects.
You’re the kind of person who:
Has experience with VisionPlus and has worked in a client facing role. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of clients and internal staff. You have a strong sense of accountability and follow through, effective problem solving skills, as well as a commitment to positive solutions and the client experience.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a client facing role
• Experience with VisionPlus
• Availability for occasional afterhours support for client implementations if needed
• Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Bachelors degree
• Financial industry, installations, and/or project management experience
