Role Value Proposition:
The Global Technology (GTS) Performance Management team provides analytic solutions and services that enable employees to make better-informed and timely business and strategic decisions. The capabilities, reports, and analysis provided by the team serves as the core data, reporting, and analytic platform for the Global Technology Organization (GTO) of MetLife.
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual with a strong customer and IT background to support GTO Executive Reporting & Analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business, analytic and customer focused acumen; a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. It is anticipated that this role will mature to a trusted SME collaborating with IT professionals across all levels of the organization delivering the capabilities needed to achieve the highest levels of data, insights, and analytics to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in written communication utilized in highly visible executive leadership reviews (i.e., Board of Directors, Dedicated Business Reviews, Monthly Operational Reviews) which present an in-depth look into company performance, communication issues, operating procedures, profitability issues, and other factors that affect a business.
• Lead comprehensive executive leadership operational reviews with focus on performance measurement, predictive analysis and prescriptive recommendations geared to depicting accurately of achieving organizational/company goals
• Continuously improve existing (and introduce new) executive reporting KPI’s and framework through infusion of industry best practices, current trends and lessons learned from continuous feedback and engagements.
• Leverage existing executive reporting team by capitalizing on their relationships to drive accountability, standardization, accuracy and consistency in executive reporting across all sub-LOBS.
• Oversee and act as escalation point for executive reporting inquiries originated from key organization stakeholders.
• Develop and implement quality controls and standards to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of executive reporting deliverables.
• Drive accountability and transparency through effective governance with a disciplined focus on data-driven decision making, infusing fact-based decisions into core management capabilities, disciplined prioritization and holistic execution.
• Champion a team culture that is built on trust and collaboration and that facilitates open communication and transparency
• Cultivate an environment where intellectual curiosity, collegial challenge and candor result in an inspired team always seeking improved approaches to our Performance Management strategy
• Continually drive both incremental and transformative change to deliver substantial performance enhancements and actively seek opportunities to share best practices across the organization.
• Resourceful and creative — must bring fresh out-of-the-box insights to a dynamic business environment to address critical issues, develop creative solutions, and deliver measurable value while maintaining an evergreen TBM roadmap.
Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Essential
• 3+ year experience in the following:
◦ Lead role demonstrating positive results to improve overall organization processes, standards or governance initiatives
◦ Excellent communication skills including: proactively provide appropriate level insights, collaborate with individuals to become a trusted partner, and delegate tasks to cross-functional teams with a goal to provide accurate content and on-time delivery of initiatives
◦ Experience in developing best practices delivering value driven results to organizations
◦ Acumen to drive quality of information through insights derived from understanding strategy, vision and business objectives
• Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
• Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and initiatives simultaneously

• Microsoft products experience ( Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Business Intelligence experience (QlikView, Cognos, Power BI, ServiceNow)
• Broad experience in the financial services industry
• Knowledge and application of relational database concepts
