Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION – Sr. Marketing Consultant – Retail
Reporting to the Retail Marketing Manager, Consumer Marketing, the Senior Marketing Consultant is responsible for managing and executing marketing strategies across various LOBs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creates detailed project plans with stated measurable goals, timing and budget.
• Seeks and identifies innovative marketing opportunities that support the overall marketing strategy.
• Manages and executes assigned marketing projects in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Identifies project problems/risks, proposes solutions, and escalates to leadership for timely resolution, if necessary.
• Effectively works across internal and external teams to build trust and relationships with key stakeholders.
• Adheres to marketing budget and manages expenses accordingly.
• Works closely with internal and external agencies to develop project objectives and creative briefs.
• Monitors business results of programs and makes adjustments to those programs leveraging data, analytics and research.
• Demonstrates consistent year-over-year improvements in program performance.
• Is able to influence business partners and stakeholders in the effective use of marketing programs and channels to optimize returns.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
• Minimum of 5 -7 years marketing or related experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, directing agency partners and strong analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills, along with the ability to apply focus and discipline while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Collaborative mindset.
• Must be well organized and detail oriented.
• Strong problem identification and reporting skills.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of banking or financial services; advertising agency experience, and brand management.
