We’re hiring a core group of casual status staff who will work at least 20 hours per week during peak busy season (mid-Feb-mid-April) and will have the option to work and attend training during the duration of the year as needs arise. This core group of professionals will primarily prepare or review tax returns based on experience and may provide basic accounting services with prior experience. Opportunities available at our Milwaukee (Wauwatosa), and downtown Racine offices.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare or review individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of returns.
• Contact clients by phone or email to gather necessary information
• Review files to ensure that they possess the necessary signatures, contain the necessary supporting documentation, and comply with filing due dates • Obtain proper filing extensions when necessary
• Frequently interface with client personnel to review and apply accounting and tax principles.
• Continually interact with peers and supervisors to gather and prepare information.
• Provide basic accounting services as needed.
Required Experience & Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field desired
• CPA desired but not required
• Some experience in tax preparation is desired but not required
• Prior experience with an established public accounting and/or professional services firm preferred
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong computer skills required
