The Associate Talent Acquisition Advisor supports the overall CAST branding and talent acquisition efforts to maintain suitable workforce levels and pipeline levels for the line of business. Working with the Regional Director, Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Director, s/he will engage in activities to promote the CAST consulting positions, to attract potential applicants, to participate in the interviewing and selection process, and to record talent acquisition activity in CRM. S/he will attend conference and networking events on behalf of the firm.
The below functions reflect the general details of the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned.
• Networking: Successfully represents CAST at selected networking events to increase brand awareness and to attract applicants. Including, but not limited to, attending or serving as a sponsor for CPA chapter meeting, CPA sponsored conferences, CPA social and networking events, Business Journal events, Job Seekers group meetings, Chamber of Commerce events, and Workforce Transition and Outplacement Firm events.
• Interview applicants: Participates in phone and in-person interviews of prospective applicants to effectively screen for competencies required for CLA/CAST client serving employees. Conducts a structured interview for an accounting role.
• Candidate selection: Participates, with Client Service Team, in the selection process. Includes resume review, phone screening, in person interviewing, and comparing structured interview results for applicate selection process.
• Hiring Compliance: Understands and adheres to legal requirement surrounding applicant interviewing. Must demonstrate an understanding of, or be willing to learn, the implications of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), The Equal Pay Act of 1963 (EPA), The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), The Americans with Disabilities Act Title of 1990 (ADA) and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 (GINA) on the recruiting process and fairness in applicant selection process.
• Timely and accurately records talent acquisition activities in CRM.
• Experience: 1 years with a public accounting firm or as a technical recruiter for a staffing firm. Experience must include participating in networking and firm
representation activities.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• Certification/ Licenses: None required.
Associate Talent Acquisition Advisor will work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor and will report to the Regional Director, Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Director and will work closely with the CAST Client Services Team members.
S/he is aligned with a career coach (who may or may not be the same as the direct supervisor) to help with career planning, be an advocate for the experiences needed to reach goals, navigate the firm’s resources, and share insights, expertise, and guidance to develop his/her full potential.
Mastery in Outlook and Microsoft Word. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. CRM and ATS system (WorKDay) experience is a plus.

This position requires <10% travel.

Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. Client environments may vary, depending on services provided, but most, if not all, work will be performed in a traditional office setting under normal working conditions.
