The Contract Coordinator position is responsible for the collection, processing, data entry and limited reporting related to contract attribute capture within CRM (SalesLogix/Salesforce) and other type databases. This position will be responsible for process documentation, process improvement and general reporting. In addition, this post will also be responsible for contract reviews, data entry, and inputting key information into CRM and other related databases. The Contract Coordinator is expected to work with internal stakeholders, multiple levels of management and Centers of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administration of contract submissions including, but not limited to New Sales, Amendments, Renewals and Cancellations on the SharePoint contract site
• Review of contracts to identify and capture contract data attributes within SalesLogix/Salesforce database
• Construct and maintain internal documentation of process and procedures for contract data entry
• Resolving SalesLogix tickets requests, including but not limited to contract changes and contract pull request
• Recommend operational process improvement on contract administration, data capture and general reporting
• Identify training needs based on trending concerns and recommend operational process improvement
• Attend sales and service team meetings as requested
• Backup and training for cross functional teams and special projects to support corporate initiatives
Key Competencies:
• Strong understanding of processing, data entry (management), process improvement and general reporting
• Ability to work independently and require minimal direction
• Self-starter that provides thought leadership around building new and improving existing solutions
• Ability to capture and document business, data entry and reporting requirements from multiple sources
• Ability to review multiple types of contracts
• Ability to manage large volumes of work within multiple systems
• Produce general weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports (as required)
• Detail oriented, focused on data integrity and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous requests of varying sizes and scope
• Builds strong peer relationships with other key teams
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or related business experience (preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience related to data processing, data entry and general reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required with emphasis on Excel, Word, Power Point skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• The ability to read and analyze general business contracts and procedures
• Experienced in handling changing, fast-paced and challenging job demands
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Detail oriented, focused on data integrity and accuracy
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills using “out of the box” thinking
• Experience with CRM database software preferred; SalesLogix and/or Salesforce a strong plus
