As part of the GCS Finance Team, the manager will be responsible for strategic decision support to Global Commercial Customer Marketing team. The successful candidate will ensure that we appropriately value Customer Marketing Investments and understand the returns across multiple channels and customer segments. He/she will also provide strategic guidance and decision support on offers, channel mix, new partnerships, incentives as well as insight into how best to meet shareholder and customer goals. The role will have interaction with business leaders, Finance and staff groups
Additionally, he/she will:
• Analyze customer revenue and cost drivers to provide regular valuation (CMV and ROI) updates by Customer Marketing channels, which are then used for investment optimization
• Drive efforts to continuously improve our data and reporting capabilities in order to provide detailed segmented views of Customer Marketing performance
• Drive efforts to better align Customer Marketing performance (IBB) to the Global Commercial Service P&L trends by customer segment (organic growth)
• Work on LRP and investment plans related to Customer Marketing initiatives
• Influence business partners with sound logic and air-tight analyses, promoting revenue growth and optimizing investment financial returns
• Build and maintain relationships with key business partners to deliver results
• Develop expertise of client/card member and portfolio behaviors at the aggregate and vintage level
Qualifications
• He/she must be self-driven with passion for complex problem solving and excellent attention to detail
• The successful candidate must have strong analytical and quantitative skills, enabling him or her to effectively value and critique wide-ranging investments
• Strong Excel skills to manage and work with financial models and large amount of data plus excellent PowerPoint / presentation skills
• He/she must have flare for Programming and Knowledge of SQL and/or SAS for analysis
• Incumbent will have significant interaction with the business unit and should possess strong relationship and communication skills
• 3-5 years of Finance or Analytics experience
• Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance is preferred
