Prosperity Bank is seeking to fill the position Information Security Analyst in our Sugar Land, East Lawn office
The Security Analyst ensures compliance with all relevant information security and privacy regulations and best practices. Works with others in the Organization to understand security needs, develop and support security solutions. This individual will enable the business in security and risk management, lead the team to manage exceptions, and document alignment of both requirement drivers and adherence monitoring processes related to policy. Additional duties will be working on the cutting edge of security and technology and address new risks identified in policy, and collaborating with other groups within Prosperity Bank to mature The Bank’s Information Security Program. The Security Analyst will perform other duties as assigned. A full description of duties available upon hiring.

Required Skills:
Requirements
• Understanding of industry regulations a plus (HITECH/HIPAA, PCI, SOX, FFIEC)
• Demonstrate knowledge of IS areas, such as authentication, encryption, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management and assessment
• Demonstrated ability to integrate business needs and exceptional customer service with that of maintaining a strong security framework
Other Skills required
• Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills
• Experience successfully supporting and managing an enterprise network
• Ability to oversee the development and execution of detailed project plans
• Experience in change control methodology with an ability to provide clear technical documentation supporting change
• Willingness to work beyond core business hours, if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned security system modifications.
• Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preference will be given to any candidates with these additional skills
• Detail technical experience with a minimum of four years’ experience in one or more of the following: computer network penetration testing and techniques; computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery; computer intrusion analysis and incident response, intrusion detection; computer network surveillance/monitoring; network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Applicable Certifications: CISSP, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (CGIH), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
• IT Banking Experience
Required Experience:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical field; or
• Associates Degree in Computer Sciences or related field plus 2 years of relevant work experience
• 3+ years of experience directly related to information security
• GSEC, SSCP, CISSP certification is preferred
• RSA Security Analytics – Preferred
