Job Description
What is Remarketing? We prepare and manage the inventory of Ally's U.S. pre-owned retail and lease-return vehicles, which includes: Vehicle Return Management· Transportation Logistics· Inspection - Title Coordination· Online and Physical Auction Sales· Direct-to-Dealer Sales· Direct-to-Customer Sales Visit www.ally.com to learn more. The purpose of this position is to provide quality and efficient customer service by performing administrative duties related to the remarketing of vehicle returns. This position works with other teams to ensure that Ally Remarketing provides excellent service to our dealers, customers and suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
• Train and develop Remarketing Specialists through one on one coaching, monitoring audits and continued training.
• Lead special projects and initiatives associated with Remarketing.
• Allocate Team Work Assignments and monitor progress on a daily basis.
• Cover progress regularly with team mates for the purpose of educating and training.
• Resolve escalated situations involving customers, dealers or suppliers.
• Manage cross-functional relationships.
• Prepare and analyze compliance and performance reports for the purpose of adhering to state, federal laws and Ally procedures.
• Drive team to meet and exceed quality standards and metrics, while achieving compliance goals.
• Take appropriate actions up to authority limits as established by policy.
• Manage the staff functions where work is more complex and diversified in nature.
• Responsible for allocating and resourcing work as well as scheduling activities.
• Implementing policy and procedures as needed.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associate / Bachelor's degree in business related discipline required.
• 3+ years in related field or financial services industry is preferred.
• Prior leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform technical based activities.
• Knowledge of and experience with fundamental theories, principles and concepts of management.
• Experience with coaching, documentation and career development preferred.
• Ability to leverage technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
• Project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
