Job Description:
At Regions, we are currently seeking a Collections Specialist I to conduct inbound and outbound collection calls for the purpose of resolving the delinquency status of past due customers. This is a fast paced environment where excellent customer service skills are crucial and proficiency in typing / keyboarding is huge plus.
Primary Responsibilities
• Collects delinquent payments
• Works with customers to prevent liquidation while minimizing company interest losses
• Documents activity
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position may be incentive eligible.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
Skills and Competencies
• Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills
• Familiar in applicable computer software systems to include word processing, databases and spreadsheets
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, including attention to detail
Must be able to work the following schedule:
Monday - Friday 9am to 6:30pm OR 10:30am to 7pm with occasional Saturdays 8am to 12pm.
