Description
The Consumer QA/QC Sr. Specialist will be responsible for managing the daily work flow of the business unit to provide accounting services to the default business lines. This is primary role in the Investor Claims department performing QA of all claims filed to FNMA and FHLMC before submission using the LoanSphere Claims application.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Quality controls of the business unit- performing quality reviews, risk remediation
• Oversight of daily activities for compliance with investor, insurer and industry guidelines
• Assist management with policies and procedures updates
• Act as liaison between business lines- serve as subject matter expert for department functions
• Perform clerical duties such as time approvals, employee reviews and goal setting.
• Motivate, incent and reward desired behaviors by providing feedback and utilizing available reward and recognition programs
• Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
• Suspense Management experience
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to support others through development and coaching
• Strong understanding of the compliance/regulatory environment
• Bachelor Degree required
• 4 + years Mortgage Default Servicing Operations experience
• Solid customer service orientation and proficient product knowledge.
• Solid problem solving skills
• Solid organization skills
• Solid ability to multi-task and to function efficiently in a high volume, fast paced deadline oriented environment.
• Solid knowledge MS Excel
• Solid knowledge of MS Word
• Solid time management skills
• Solid written and verbal skills
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Solid project management skills
• Solid PC Skills
• Solid Accounting Skills
• LoanSphere Claims Application experience a plus
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
