JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction, the Senior Business Analyst effectively performs all accountabilities of all levels of Business Analyst (BA), in addition to leading business area architecture assessments, documenting current state, developing future business area architecture in line with enterprise level business architecture and leading BA efforts at a program level. Leads and directs business teams in medium to large and complex projects, in multiple locations, creating new business solutions or enhancements to existing business solutions. Interfaces with technology BAs and other stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities. Outlines definition of the testing strategy, leads and directs defect reviews, prioritization of events and creates defect tracking and metric reports. Develops and manages business analysis phase/stage plans in addition to tracking and managing business requirement changes during the project lifecycyle. Partners with business leaders to influence and help develop business strategy. Provides support to mentors and trains team members in business analysis practices and techniques.
Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Consistently demonstrate business area subject matter expertise.
• Lead Business Area Architecture assessments and document current state.
• Develop future state business area architecture in line with enterprise level business architecture.
• Lead BA efforts at the program level.
• Manage and direct medium to large BA teams in multiple locations.
• Lead development of complex Business Process Models and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop process integration and standardization strategies and architectures.
• Partner with business line leaders to influence and help develop business strategy.
• Mentor and train team members in business analysis practices and techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
Preferred Education: Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
Required Experience: 7-10 years 7-9 years of Information Technology, financial or related functional industry experience
Preferred Experience: 7-10 years 9 plus years of Information Technology or financial industry experience with support of finance applications
Required Experience: Less than 2 years Proficient in Project Development Life Cycle Methodology
