RSM is looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition Strategic Initiatives Manager for our growing Talent Acquisition (TA) team. This strategy-oriented TA professional will work directly with the Head of TA (US & Canada) and the TA Center of Excellence (COE) Leader and other TA COE counterparts to ensure that RSM attracts and hires the best talent across campus, experienced and executive recruitment.
Essential Duties:
• Develops and drives RSM’s recruitment strategy across campus, experienced and executive recruitment
• Identifies, creates and implements cutting-edge strategies to attract future firm talent; drives influence and buy-in across the TA team as new strategies are rolled out
• Works collaboratively with the TA COE to leverage data analytics in order to inform TA strategy and execution
• Identifies gaps in existing and future talent pools, and makes recommendations to address those gaps
• Plays a key role in innovating RSM’s TA technology roadmap by researching, vetting and rolling out new technology tools
• Drives brand enhancements across TA in conjunction with the communications team
• Drives outreach and dynamic use of social media to enhance our talent brand
• Acts as an experience designer to further enhance the RSM candidate experience
• Works collaboratively with RSM’s Culture Diversity & Inclusion counterparts to further drive a diverse talent pool
• Consistently analyzes trends, shares competitive market intelligence with TA team, and leverages their subject matter expertise to make ongoing recommendations and further propel RSM’s market positioning
• Connectivity to firm initiatives to the TA organization
• Demonstrates a creative approach to allows for innovation, scalability and simplification across TA strategies and processes
• Connects regularly with our Marketing/Communications, Talent Experience & Technology and the broader Talent organization to share relevant information and provide important guidance back to the TA team
• Manages several projects and change management initiatives at once
• Defines & validates project scope, associated costs, project plan & schedule for moderately complex projects; defines metrics for project success; select & apply standards (e.g. delivery process, roles & responsibilities, operational norms, compliance)
• Manages change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization and contributing to development of training
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 6-8+ years of experience in a talent acquisition strategy role or environment
• Prior people leadership experience
• Prior experience driving strategy with recruitment technologies (e.g. ATS, CRM)
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with strong proficiency in Excel
• Proven track record in project/change management and technologies/tools
• Demonstrated experience with planning & prioritization, risk identification & management and time & productivity management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities
• Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
• Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to influence and resolve operational issues
• Strong critical thinking and decision making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience with recruitment marketing strategies
• Experience driving TA strategy across both campus and experienced hiring
• Experience working in a matrix environment in a global organization
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
