Position Purpose:
Provide excellent, all-inclusive customer support for select client base to ensure accuracy and timely reporting, while maintaining a high level of communication with customer. Position can be located in Kansas City, MO or Chicago, IL.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Report balancing changes to customers before markets open daily
• Oversee requests for all cash transactions
• Timely notification of exercises, assignments, first notice/last trading days
• Create mock (sample) statements as needed
• Liaise with Deliveries to monitor long positions for delivery spot month
• Manage Omnibus account relationships
• Resolve trade discrepancies
• Resolve fee and commission issues
• Assist clients on multiple internal Web applications
• Work closely with other back office departments
• Manage customer relationships by acting as back office liaison
• Analyze and take ownership of customer issues coming on through phone and email, and provide timely and appropriate corrective actions
Additional Responsibilities:
• Facilitate external transfer request
• Facilitate the processing of CTA and Management fees
• Issue and manage margin calls
• Complete multiple tasks in back office system (GMI) and exchange related portals
Job Requirements:
• 4-year college degree / or equivalent
• 5 years futures industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of GMI operation systems
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities
• Excellent inter-personal communication and customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details
• Minimum travel required
Working Conditions:
• Climate controlled office environment
• Minimal physical requirements other than occasional light lifting of boxed material
