Description

The Technology Team supports the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of all banking systems. This team has the expertise and commitment to develop high-quality solutions to meet the needs of a fast-paced and complex operating environment.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and troubleshoot production systems and applications across a broad spectrum of technologies
• Primary focus in Oracle PL/SQL based applications on Appian platform (preferable)
• Analyze complex applications, system and infrastructure issues
• Participate in system testing and validation of production changes
• Extensive modification to Oracle applications utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms
• Familiarize on all production changes being made to the environment and actively offer constructive means to reduce potential impacts from change
• Work effectively with the Infrastructure architects and DBA teams to ensure that all approved development and deployment procedures are followed
• Review and optimize query performance
Qualifications:
• 3-5 Years of experience developing Oracle Anonymous PL/SQL Blocks (Scripts), executing Stored Procedures, Functions, and Package Procedures, and using Oracle Database Links and Views.
• Proficient experienced in moving and integrating datasets between multiple databases on different servers, and between multiple database tables.
• Proficiency with writing fault-tolerant Oracle PL/SQL along with database architecture, including procedures, packages, triggers and supporting structures.
• Strong knowledge in SQL Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML)
• Create and execute SQL scripts to be used for test validation.
• The candidate must possess strong analytical, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• The candidate must be experienced in bridging the gaps between clients’ spoken requirements and actionable technical requirements.
• The candidate must have the ability to reverse-engineer and translate technical requirements into non-technical language.
• Experience executing in agile team using scrum is a strong plus.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
