We are in search of the perfect candidate to collaborate with our CHRO. The Sr. Executive Assistant role is responsible for the day-to-day management of activities in support of the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). This position is an excellent developmental role with exposure to company strategy, major programs and initiatives and the top leadership of the company. We will consider candidates that are not on a traditional executive assistant career path but who have the skills and drive to meet the needs of the role and possess a passion for development.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Effectively interact with senior leaders, board members, customers, clients, business associates, community leaders and employees while representing the CHRO. Use judgment to handle inquiries from vendors, candidates, employees, and customers and to resolve concerns/issues as necessary.
• Utilize project management skills to plan, coordinate and facilitate on-site and off-site meetings and travel.
• Draft and/or proof-read documents and presentations as needed utilizing a strong command of proper business writing and grammar.
• Handle multiple requests for time on executive leader’s calendars and utilize strong judgment in managing priorities of requests and escalating as necessary for resolution and/or prioritization.
• Handle all administrative duties including meeting planning, travel planning, expense reports, scheduling, phone/mail, supplies, filing, and other business matters for the CHRO. Schedule and arrange meetings with internal and external constituents.
• Serve as a resource for other administrative assistants, executive and senior team members within FHNC.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Excellent time-management, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Position requires an efficient, detail-oriented, person who can be responsive in a deadline and results driven environment.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision and be able to respond effectively to completing priorities.
• Requires exceptional communication skills including writing (memo, presentations, correspondence, and email) and verbal skills to interface effectively with executives and all levels of staff.
• Possess a strong level of discretion to manage highly confidential information.
• Strong judgment is required to manage completing priorities, understand scope and urgency of requests.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office with particular strength in MS Word and PowerPoint; knowledge of Excel is preferred.
• Experience working in a high-paced, high urgency environment that requires discretion, diplomacy and judgment.
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm with additional hours as needed
