The role will provide an individual with an opportunity to absorb a breadth of knowledge across multiple areas of the organization. The role will report to the Head of Governance and Integration for Fortitude Re.
• Develop, prepare and maintain documents necessary to support program and workstream owners. Develop and manage weekly status reports and management reports.
• Support program and project managers, and work streams in areas such as plan maintenance, status reporting, issue, risk and milestone management, and cross-functional communications.
• Understand broad project planning requirements; responsible for coordinating activities and stakeholders to facilitate achievement of plan goals.
• Support change management process including communicating updates to relevant governance committees, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct research, data and other business analysis, draft and manage internal communications
• Independently manage smaller projects and initiatives
• Develop relationships and build trust with multiple working teams with competing priorities, understand and apply new concepts and data, and develop analysis to support decision makers.
• Work in a dynamic environment while supporting multiple stakeholders in achieving their goals and milestones.
• Conduct outside research, interview subject matter experts and key stakeholders, and seek guidance from third parties to provide recommendations on how to approach a problem.
What we are looking for
We are looking for results-oriented professional with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and somewhat ambiguous corporate, yet start-up environment.
The preferred candidate will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 - 5 years of business analyst, consulting or transformation experience
• Ability to think critically, demonstrated record of initiative, adaptability, real-time problem solving and decision making.
• Well organized with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to process changes and different technology systems
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills to review data, create analysis and share findings in writing to both internal and external parties.
• Good interpersonal, communication and business writing skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail oriented and able to organize in a logical and structured manner
• Flexible personality, ability to adjust and pivot when necessary and willing to take on new challenges
• Have business sense and willing to learn about the areas supported
• Work well under tight deadlines
• Financial services experience, preferably insurance
