Provides relationship and documentation services to assigned accounts. Responsible for task prioritization, document quality assurance and on time document delivery. Works in a team environment and collaborates with asset management, credit, tax, sales and closing to ensure that lease origination commitments are fulfilled. Provides periodic status updates to Leasing Delivery Services (LDS) leadership, Relationship Managers and Account Managers. Serves as an alternate point of contact for partners and customers when Relationship Managers or Account Managers are not available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Facilitates lease origination by communicating with partners and customers. Manages origination delivery from point of sale to closure. Collaborates with sales, asset management, credit, tax and closing. Prepares lease documentation to meet timelines and comply with corporate guidelines, policies and underwriting standards.
• Manages small project transactions requiring interim funding activities or reimbursement to the customers. Ensures appropriate level of due diligence and documents that require to be recorded in the land records is completed prior to disbursing funds.
• Backs up relationship managers, account managers and other team members. Performs pricing on standard transactions.
• Participates in quality assurance checkpoints. Works with LDS team to ensure that high quality standards are achieved.
• Serves as point person for assigned relationship/origination channel to coordinate and/or resolve origination issues.
• Communicates deal status to LDS leadership, Relationship Managers and Account Managers. Keeps supervisor informed of work load and origination issues.
• Actively engages with LDS team contributing to fulfillment of overall partner and customer origination commitments.
• Performs follow-up activities with partner and customer to ensure that closing requirements have been fulfilled.
• Participates in relationship status calls and participates in on-site visits to assigned accounts to build relationships and improve service.
• Works closely with Relationship Managers, Account Managers, customers and lease partners to provide superior customer service.
Basic Qualifications
• High School diploma.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in the leasing industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or relevant discipline preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the Farm Credit System preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the leasing industry, leasing documentation, tax and closing requirements.
• Working knowledge of office software applications, Tvalue, CRM, and Rapport.
• Ability to accommodate varying work and scheduling requirements in order to meet deadlines.
• Ability to solve problems, and identify when to escalate issues.
• Ability to interact with and engage others appropriately at all levels in the organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent detail and customer service orientation.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).
