Prudential has a great career opportunity for a seasoned leader with a strong focus on innovation and ideation for its Internal Audit Department. This position reports to the Director, Innovation and Solutions.
In partnership with the Director, Innovation and Solutions you will design, lead and deploy innovative solutions to enhance the processes and tools designed to support and enable the audit department globally. This requires cultivating partnerships across the Audit department and the technology community to ensure we are continually enhancing the internal audit program and developing leading edge solutions to meet emerging business objectives.
In this role you will be responsible to:
• Work collaboratively with the Internal Audit leadership team and audit professionals to design and develop innovation efforts
• Assess “as is” processes and identify gaps and potential technology solutions
• Gather requirements for both process redesign as well as technology development
• Create a scalable strategy of ideation opportunities to help ensure a constant flow of innovation which solicits ideas from auditors in a structured manner
• Design a strategy to create a venue for ideas to be shared from all levels within Internal Audit
• Develop a ‘triage” process to help ensure ideas are vetted against formalized criteria
• Host key scoping, design, and prototype sessions to optimize progress and transparency
• Accumulate and summarize progress, accomplishments, upcoming milestones and risks/challenges to achieving objectives

Qualifications
• 10+ years’ experience with a combination of innovation, continuous improvement and solution development
• Proven record of effectively operating at both a strategic and tactical level
• Agile development experience a significant plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, often competing, and diverse priorities and programs
• Successful track record of problem solving and exercising sound judgment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build business relationships, influence and effectively interact with all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of Audit organizations a significant plus
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus
