In this newly created position, you will play a key role in the cash management function of AIG/Fortitude Group Holdings and all of its subsidiaries. Responsibilities include managing day to day cash transactions, forecasting and reporting to management. As Fortitude Re works through the business separation process, you will collaborate with AIG Core Treasury on process re-engineering activities and be heavily involved in building and executing the Treasury separation plan.
Responsibilities Include:
• Daily Cash Management operations
◦ Perform day to day execution of cash flows and cash balancing
• Short Term Forecasting
◦ Daily forecasting of upcoming cash flows used for investing purposes mainly (Typically one month horizon)
• Reporting on cash balances and yields
◦ Daily reporting of cash balances as of prior days close and the interest rate being paid on those balances
• Long Term forecasting
◦ Less frequent (possibly weekly or monthly) forecasting used for long term planning, budgeting and liquidity
• Liquidity Management
◦ Using the long term forecast to measure liquidity adequacy
• Collateral Management
◦ Look after any and all collateral pledged to Fortitude Re. Ensure compliance with treaties and IMA’s.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
One to three years of related treasury experience.
Technical expertise must include proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and G/L systems in both Mainframe and PC environments.
Good analytical skills, SAP and general ledger research proficiency highly desired.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-company, multi-systems environment meeting regular deadlines.
Knowledge of finance, financial modeling, fixed income securities, interest rates is a plus.
