Branch Manager
Opportunity Overview
As a Branch Manager with Islanders Bank you will oversee daily operation of the branch including: sales, operations, consumer and small business lending, exemplary client service, and the security and safety of our customers and staff.
As a Branch Manager with Islanders Bank you will have the opportunity to:
• Develop new deposit and loan business while fostering superior client relationship management
• Promote a positive and productive sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation
• Achieve individual and branch goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of account relationships
• Participate in community events and service organizations to increase Islanders Banks’ visibility
• Conduct branch promotions to build momentum for core account growth
• Create and maintaining branch operations procedures & policies as needed
• Provide conflict resolution with both clients and staff
• Advise current and prospective clients on financial solutions that contribute to their success
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience required
Experience
• 3+ years bank branch leadership and operations experience
• Demonstrated success in sales and business development
• Demonstrated leadership, team building, and management skills
• Basic knowledge of retail product philosophy, services, systems & applications, policies, procedures and documentation
Preferred Skills
• Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills
• Effective selling, cross selling and referral skills
• Mathematical, problem-solving, and negation skills
• Ability to analyze client credit data and other related financial information
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
