As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of federal, state & local, income tax returns, providing support to tax management, preparing and reviewing federal and state tax estimates, extensions, forecasting and assisting tax management with corporate income tax audits for the entire consolidated group.
Day to day:
• Prepare federal and state income and franchise tax returns
• Assist in tax return process including fixed asset compliance
• Assist in the administration of the Company's federal & state income tax audits
• Maintain the Company’s tax reporting calendar to ensure that all reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.
• Research and other special projects
• BS in Accounting required, MS in Taxation and or CPA is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in private industry (financial services preferred) or public accounting.
• Proficiency in computerized tax preparation software (OneSource OIT) and tax research software (RIA), in addition to MS Excel and Word. Experience in Oracle a plus.
• Candidate must have strong analytical, organization and communication skills
• Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Process-oriented with high attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to work with a variety of internal functions and our external tax advisors.
